How the reading gets done

  2. Drawings read as imagesKeynotes and general notes sit in PDF layers that text extraction silently drops. Skip that step and you lose the notes that carry scope.
  3. Every specification section resolvedEach one ends as a priced line, an inclusion, or a stated exclusion with a reason. A quantity-only takeoff misses every service the specification mandates, because services have no quantity on a drawing.
